Welcome to our very first post — Humanitarian Software is starting a blog!
We’re launching this space to share what’s new with HELM and to talk about something we think about constantly: how little software is built specifically for disaster relief and humanitarian aid. Most supply-chain tools are designed for commercial operations, leaving the organizations doing the hardest work to make do with systems that were never meant for them.
That gap is exactly why we do what we do. For nearly 40 years, we’ve focused on purpose-built logistics software for the humanitarian sector — and this blog is where we’ll keep you posted on how it’s evolving.
